Why should you make a will?

Peace of mind for family and friends

A will makes it much easier for your family or friends to sort everything out when you die – without a will the process can be more time consuming and stressful.

Your wishes are adhered to

If you don’t write a Will, everything you own will be shared out in a standard way defined by the law – which isn’t always the way you might want.

Saving your loved ones money

A will can help reduce the amount of Inheritance Tax that might be payable on the value of the property and money you leave behind.

Your dependants are cared for

Writing a Will is especially important if you have children or other family who depend on you financially, or if you want to leave something to people outside your immediate family.

WHAT MAKES US DIFFERENT?

We are legally trained but not practising as solicitors so we do not charge the high solicitors rates you regularly see. However, our clients are still getting the same legal advice from a qualified lawyer (LL.B law degree, LPC legal Practice course training as solicitor and a member of the Society of Will Writers).

Revel Enterprises is partnered with the Society of Will  Writers, offering external examiner services for their distance learning courses and providing ad-hoc advice on the laws of succession.

So, what do we do?

OUR SERVICES

Standard single Will

This is a Will written by an individual to document their wishes, and how they would like their estate to be treated when they pass away. ... You can write a Single Will if you are in a relationship, married or in a civil partnership

Standard double Will

If you are married, or in a civil partnership, you may simply wish to leave your entire estate to your partner in the event of your death. A Double Will is the simplest way to do this. In the event that both of you were to die, the estate would automatically be passed on to your children, or other named beneficiaries.

Will Storage

As part of our on-going support to our clients we offer a wills storage facility, free of charge, in our secure archive. You can retrieve your will at any point to review it, amend it or destroy it.
